‘Consistent tracking is a significant predictor of weight loss’.

There are many studies supporting the use of food tracking to lose weight. Tracking could also be used to see if you get enough vitamins and minerals.

One study called ‘The Effect of Adherence to Dietary Tracking on Weight Loss: Using HLM to Model Weight Loss over Time’ had this conclusion:

‘In summary, dietary tracking was found to be an important component of successful weight loss, with those who tracked at least 5 days of each week showing significant and sustained weight loss over time as compared to those who tracked fewer days or inconsistently during the program…’
